New health initiative: how XIa-Hifa can help you secure your future
Precious lives are all too often lost with the unaffordably high cost of specialised medical care. Alex Zedong, CEO of Xia-Hifa Biologics (creators of the Junin 2 vaccine), explained that this was the inspiration behind their new medical cover programme.
One of the first beneficiaries of this new scheme is 9-month old Connor from Surrey who had a high-risk neuroblastoma that could be removed through expensive surgery, which is currently available only in Australia. A close friend of Zedong directed Connor's parents to Xia-Hifa. Connor was able to receive treatment at Xia-Hifa's Port Kembla centre and is now back in the UK reported to be recovering well.
Zedong emphasised Xia-Hifa's high CSR ratings and described the programme as “our way of giving something back to the community that supports us”. Details have not been fully disclosed to the public yet but the programme is generally expected to make expensive or exclusive treatments more accessible to young patients in need.
